Volunteers wanted for research into the childhood factors leading to psychosis

Are you the parent of an adult child diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder?

Would you like to take part in cutting edge research looking at childhood factors leading to psychosis?

Liverpool University and Nottingham Trent University are looking for people who:

  • Speak fluent English
  • Have a child who is currently over 18 years of age with a lifetime diagnosis of schizophrenia
  • Have at least 30 minutes of a home video of your child between the ages 1-4 years

The study involves:

  • Being interviewed by a member of the research team for about 10 minutes at a place convenient to you
  • Completing a short questionnaire during the interview

And optional if available:

Submitting a home video of your child for analysis by the team
